Provider Joins Apple BlackBerry - FORTUNE

TAIPEI (Reuters) – Taiwan’s Hon Hai, a leading manufacturer of iPhones and iPads for Apple, announced a partnership with BlackBerry.FIH

Mobile Ltd., a subsidiary of Hon Hai, signed a five-year cooperation with Canada to develop and manufacture mobile phones aimed at emerging markets such as Mexico and Indonesia markets the island said Saturday in a statement .

“(Cooperation) strengthen the competitiveness of BlackBerry smartphones, expanding its presence in established and emerging markets,” he said.

Hon Hai, also known as Foxconn, is the world’s largest electronics manufacturing world.
