BlackBerry Business Cloud creates - FORTUNE

MEXICO CITY (Notimex) – BlackBerry announced Thursday the formation of its new business area in the cloud, QNX Software Systems, focused on creating technologies to connect people by embedding platforms, networks and devices, thus facilitating greater communication and interaction on the Internet.

CEO of Canadian origin, John Chen, told through its official blog today that this kind of business is being established with other existing organizations operating in the embedded market, such as automotive.

In other words, this is a group dedicated to connecting the multitude of devices, he said.

responsible for this new business will be the former head of BlackBerry developer relations, Alec Saunders, vice president and global alliances and ecosystems Marty Mallick.

In this regard, the CEO said that the combination of these relationships allow the company to achieve the development of this new system so that users of BlackBerry 10, reaching an even more productive and efficient.

QNX technology is based on a micro kernel structure, which provides advanced features stability against failure of devices, applications, through the support of a real-time operating system.
