BlackBerry plans Octa-Core Team and 64-bit 2015 - PoderPDA

Antonio Cahun

Yesterday they talked about the way that BlackBerry has been taken not to be left behind in the race for the manufacturer of smartphones and although results presented last year teams were not the best, apparently the Canadian has an ace up its sleeve: the BlackBerry Ontario, the device that aims to be the flagship of the 2014. In addition to this equipment, according to information from N4BB , BlackBerry is planning to launch several series of teams this year, but also in the leaks was seen a computer would be released in 2015.

In

leaks can be seen a team that could use a octa-core processor 64 bits. This would be a Snapdragon processor with MSM8994 model, which is a processor 20 nm HKMG and octa-core uses a 64-bit architecture. Each core can achieve a frequency up to 2.5 GHz. Some other features of this processor include a new GPU Adreno 430 running at 500 Mhz and support for OpenGL ES3.0, direct X11.1, OpenCL1.2.

Thus we see John Chen is taking the reins of BlackBerry and is thinking ahead, since it has not only planned movements for this year, but even to the next, all in order to always be on par or even beat the competition, which in these time is not easy.
