Casady sisters returned to our country for the second time this year. CocoRosie presented in Bahidorá festival in early 2013, so it was a surprise when they announced that they would return for a concert in the Auditorium Blackberry (double surprise: the return of the band and after months of inactivity return to make a concert at the forum).

Before the night had great expectations because CocoRosie was one of the most memorable acts of Bahidorá, so those who were not, we had the opportunity to vindicate

.

Entering the Blackberry we could see on stage Harp Sierra Casady, a piano and a clothesline with some clothes.

Shortly after ten o’clock at night, the lights dimmed and the forum started playing the music of CocoRosie. The first thing we heard was “Child Bride,” a song that is fairly quiet in his latest Tales of a GrassWidow disk.

In fact, this concert in Mexico was the last of his South American tour to promote this item, so it was no wonder that in the setlist outweighed this album than previous

The first part of the night was a little slow, but the voice of Sierra and Bianca grabs you from the start. One of the most interesting things to see them live is that although the melodies are usually quiet, they mounted a good show and are very energetic.

CocoRosie Live View is an experience that covers not only the musical part, in terms of quality, but also the visual. They do not need a big catch your attention paraphernalia, the Casady sisters use a number of eccentric costumes and makeup when on stage

.

Among some songs took a garment off the line he had on stage. With each of the various costumes as if it was transformed into a character. When Bianca took a baggy shirt, his attitude was more rough and manly, but at some point played a little to be some kind of hippie maiden when he put a long white dress

.

the background was a screen with psychedelic effects that projected the faces of Sierra and Bianca while singing. All these elements are part of the magic they create on stage.

course, we must not go unnoticed that the two musicians accompany: Takura Nakamuya multi instrumentalist, who all the time had a smile and radiated tranquility, and TEZ beatboxer, who really surprised by his ability to recreate sounds are his mouth.

Some of the best moments that we witnessed that night was seeing Bianca doing a Russian dance with heels or when he began “We Are On Fire”, in which the Casady sisters held hands while they were kneeling and were slowly lifted.

the end, this event proved to be a bit cathartic (perhaps by the end of the tour). So in the end Bianca and Sierra took all his energy to surrender completely to “Werewolf” was here when it caught the public completely.

After

returned for encore where they played songs that thanked fans for having included in its setlits (as they were not in the original): “Rainbowarriors”, “We Are On Fire “and” Turn Me On “.

When the concert ended, on the faces of the audience reflected peace and harmony. And it CocoRosie usually have that effect on people. So many surely were quiet home after having experienced a little magic.
