organized in Argentina Tuesday Blackberry Innovation Day , event that had as its focus the world of mobile technology and application development , brought together more than 300 entrepreneurs from around the country, including designers, programmers, students, and enthusiasts.
The day consisted of a general agenda, with three panels representing youth, women and developers currently working on the BlackBerry Innovation Center. Also, featured guest appearances by William “Fierita” Catalano, blogger and technology reference, Donato de Santis, chef, and Manuel Lozano, Director of the Foundation “For the boys”, who provided their experiences to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and innovation.
On the other hand, presented the 20 finalists and prizes were awarded national contest “Embark Blackberry” . Incriptos were 100 projects across the country. Each was evaluated for its functionality, integration with social networks, innovation, capacity development, aesthetics and user experience. The winners received cash prizes for first and second place, with 25,000 pesos and 10,000 pesos respectively, in addition to other significant benefits.
The first prize went to Lectorati , a social network for readers in Latin America through which you can know what other people are reading and discover new books according to different interests and affinities. The second prize went to Your Click Help , a project that leverages the use of social networks to promote joint action in Argentina and globally through collecting donations from private companies proportional to the support received by each campaign. Lhasa Special awards went to projects “Social App,” which corresponded to FlexTracker and “App Friend”, which was to Moments .

stressed that Argentina is the Latin American country that has developed more applications within the Built for Blackberry program , and the third country after Canada and the United States worldwide.
