The DoD approves the use of BlackBerry 10 on their networks - CioPeru - CIO Peru

[06/05/2013] BlackBerry announced that the U.S. Defense Department (DoD) has approved BlackBerry 10 smartphones and tablets BlackBerry PlayBook with BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 for use in DoD networks. To work with the Systems Agency Defense Information (DISA), the BlackBerry 10 smartphones and BlackBerry PlayBook tablets were tested in the laboratories of the Department of Defense, which issues an Approved Products List Unified Communications DISA ( UC APL).

The approval allows all DoD customers using BlackBerry smartphones and BlackBerry Z10 Q10 and BlackBerry PlayBook tablets in DoD networks.
